Was unprofessional with my visit, and off putting. I had schedueled for a tooth extraction, once I was in the chair he tries pushing a root canal down my throat. I tell him I would prefer the extraction I schedueled to get it done and over with. He becomes immediately frustrated with me and said he would refer me to someone else.

I went to Dr. Rossow’s office today for a routine cleaning. I have moderate to severe dental anxiety due to hypersensitive teeth from gum recession caused by clenching. I had a bad experience during a cleaning due to the dental tool causing sharp pains when the exposed root was scraped. I take excellent care of my teeth in spite of this sensitivity and routinely go to the dentist. I decided to give Dr. Rossow’s office a chance because I heard good things about him. That is why I was so shocked when he came in to examine my teeth and I was visibly nervous that he responded with outright condescension and zero compassion. I started to breathe deeply when he told me to tilt up my chin so he forcibly moved my chin up then said “Come on we’re not doing this today.

We’re adulting today” I felt this comment to be unprofessional and extremely insensitive. I am a 31 year old mother of 3. I am an educator in this community. I “adult” every day. If Dr. Rossow lacks the scruples and/or patience to care for patients with dental anxiety with compassion and sensitivity then he should advertise that on his website. But of course he doesn’t advertise this character flaw, so I am writing this review to warn anybody who is nervous about the dentist to go somewhere else. I’m sure Dr. Rossow is a competent dentist.

His office is clean and well kept. His staff is friendly. He just doesn’t have the compassion or patience for people who are anxious about dental care. Thank you to the office manager for hearing my concerns and showing genuine care. I still felt the need to share this experience in the hopes that future patients who suffer from dental anxiety like I do spare themselves the trouble. I can only imagine the level of care I would’ve received if work needed to be done. Glad I found out who he is before it came to that. Sophie M.

As a new patient I saw Dr. Rossow at this office for the replacement of 6 front crowns, a significant project. All went very well until the day of permanent placement. After leaving the office, I realized I would need a bite adjustment. I was slamming down hard on my bicuspids and it was starting to hurt. I called the office within a couple of hours of my morning appointment and reported the issue. When I left my earlier appointment, Dr. Rossow said, “If you need anything you know where to find me, just call.

” However, the staff stated they would not be able to see me until Tuesday, which would be 5 days later. They offered me an appointment 1 day earlier when I said I couldn’t wait that long. By late afternoon the pain was increasing so I called again and stated I would not be able to wait that long, they stated they would speak with the dentist and call back. They never called back. It’s very common when doing a large dental project to require adjustments. It’s also very common that a malocclusion can cause pain. I received a call near 11:00 the next day to confirm my Monday appointment with no mention of my discomfort. I conveyed that I was disappointed and my feeling of being disregarded.

I said I would have to go elsewhere for the adjustment. The person on the phone gaslighted me and stated the pain was typical and would go away. That was the end for me and I said I would end my relationship with the practice. They feigned an apology, but it’s too late. I’ve never seen such disregard for a patient’s comfort after spending thousands of dollars. Once the bill was paid, I was no longer a priority. I was a nuisance.
