Disappointed with this office. After being off on mat leave and not being able to book an appointment to get a cleaning, I finally muster the courage to do so for today. . . . just to be told that a staff was going home sick and that they would re-book me. I have a baby at home, it is not easy to make time to come in whenever.

I understand things happen but I was already put off when I came in, but sat for 20mins anyways and tried to be understanding. There were 4 of us booked at 8am and the staff did not even get into the building until 7:58am. Three patients were taken in at around 8:10am (we had to wait for the staff to set up) and then I was left waiting for 20 minutes. Then told their was no staff for me. I don't understand why they would book so many people so close to opening time? I left without even being seen. ***I did receive contact and they acknowledged what happened and that there should have been better communication so I appreciate that. I did give them another chance and went in for a cleaning.

The dental hygienist was pleasant and it was a good experience. I just hope going forwards, there is communication earlier when staff is ill and a patient needs to wait or re-schedule. *** Another update 05/04/2025: After giving them a second chance, again, this team has messed up and I am planning to seek care from another dental office. DO NOT GO HERE if you want to be treated like crap.

Their front office staff kept sending messages to my husband instead of my son for my son’s appointment. I told them to correct but they still messed up. Their staff smirked when I presented Healthy Smiles Ontario card for my kid because obviously we must be low income to use that card. When my daughter had a dental emergency, they said the dentist was unavailable on Saturday and told me to wait until the week after.

After every filling that I had done at this office, it took 6-7 months to feel normal again. So glad to change dentist for my whole family.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Modi. From start to finish, my experience has been wonderful. A few years ago, Dr.

Modi and I made a plan and slowly worked on it, and now I’ve finally got all my work done. I’m really happy with the results and definitely smiling a lot more. The staff at Waterloo Family Dental is just as awesome — everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and always in a good mood. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a down-to-earth, great dental experience!

I’ve been going to Dr. Kapasi for years now and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better dentist. He’s taken care of my whole family and has always made us feel super comfortable and at ease. Everything with him is just easy — no stress, no pressure, just great care every single time. I’ll be going to him until the day he retires (which I hope is not anytime soon!).

I have to give a very special shoutout to Narali at the front desk — she is seriously amazing. Over the past little while, I’ve been dealing with a bunch of appointments for my daughter (lots of cavities to take care of), and I’ve been calling the office constantly — sometimes even 2–3 times a day. Nirali always picks up with a kind voice, recognizes me right away, and never makes me feel like a bother. She’s been incredibly patient, super helpful with my benefits and walking me through all the coverage stuff, and just genuinely a lovely person to deal with. She’s really gone above and beyond, and I’m so thankful for her help.

And of course, big thanks to Laura the hygienist — always friendly, gentle, and does a great job every visit. Honestly, this whole dental office is just full of awesome people. They make going to the dentist a really good experience, which is saying a lot. Highly recommend!
