West Georgia Oral and Facial Surgery, for instance, is a prominent practice in the area, with locations including Columbus, GA. They specialize in a traditional scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, offering expertise in wisdom tooth removal, dental implants, bone grafting procedures, and non-invasive and surgical facial cosmetic procedures. Their team of oral and maxillofacial surgeons, including Drs. Mark R. Zwickey, Lee F. Allen, Don Moeller, and William Campbell, are known for their combined decades of experience and patient-centric approach, often utilizing IV sedation for patient comfort. Patient testimonials frequently highlight the staff's professionalism, caring nature, and the smooth, painless experience of procedures. Another related entity is West Georgia Family Dentistry, with locations such as Douglasville and Bremen, GA. This practice focuses on providing comprehensive dental care for the entire family. Their services range from preventative dentistry, like routine check-ups and cleanings, to restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges, as well as cosmetic dentistry including teeth whitening and veneers. They emphasize a comfortable dental experience, taking time to explain procedures and address patient questions, aiming for personalized treatment plans for each individual. Common themes across these "West Georgia Dental" associated practices include a strong commitment to patient comfort, utilization of advanced technology (e.g., digital X-rays, CEREC CAD/CAM for single-visit crowns), and a wide array of services to cater to diverse oral health needs. Many practices pride themselves on their friendly and professional staff, aiming to create a welcoming and anxiety-free environment.

Dentistry from hell was super ghetto. My first appointment I was never seen after waiting 2hrs that should have been a red flag right there but because if the first desk staff who were so nice and apologetic I ignored the 🚩. When I came back I was immediately seen but then I encountered a lady named Ms. Elizabeth who i was told was the periodontist who had to measure my gums. First she came in talking about how i took so long to get my teeth cleaned, then while performing the count she was condensing and belittling the dentist assistant for making an assumption that was rude and unprofessional to do in front of a patient.

She then started to use this sharp tool to poke my gums. I explained it was more then uncomfortable it hurt as if she was purposely stabbing my gums with no regard to the pain i was in. I kept asking is this how its supposed to feel she just ignored me. I tried to tell her I was in pain she just kept saying it’s not her problem. Finally i jumped up to stop the procedure.

She proceeded to argue with me getting louder even after i tried to disengage. The doctor came in then said “oh you need a deep cleaning “ what do you wanna do? I asked for someone else he didn’t respond or do anything to deescalate the situation or apologize for his staff. I had yo just walk out. Now my teeth hurt when i came in nothing was wrong now im in pain from getting my gums stabbed. Cant believe they service kids!! When they can even properly service an adult in a professional caring manner

Let me start out by saying the Dentist at this office was very sweet, and knowledgeable. I world return to him any day…. . However my daughter and I have been to this office twice and the lady at the front desk is very rude!!!! I had a cleaning and my daughter had a filling. There was this older African lady in the back that was talking nasty to whom I assume was the dental hygienist that originally started cleaning my teeth.

The unprofessional behavior was not called for especially in front of a patient. She ( the older lady) made her leave and she took over. The first one was gentle while she was cleaning my teeth, however when the older African lady took over she was rough. I had to stop her a few times. This was about 2 years ago… Fast forward my daughter called today and I assume the same lady is still working the front desk because she was still very rude!! Dr Jose please have a serious conversation with your staff because this is unacceptable!
