Just to book an appointment takes you for a ride. I have never seen a complicated booking procedure like this. And if you don't conform to their requirements exactly, they will cancel your appointment that had already been confirmed. No other business could survive by treating its clients this way. Well, except for the airlines.

I just called to inquire about availability and benefit coverage. I was informed that they will only submit coverage for one plan and you were responsible for payment up front. While I was explaining that I would like to work with a provider that completed all the benefit submissions, the female receptionist just hung up on me. Completely unprofessional.

It's a no brainer why this place only had a 2. 8 rating at the time of this review.

This dentist is horrible. They take you for a ride and use up your benefits quickly with poor work that you continually need to have repaired and then they charge again. They don't return phone calls. Until you switch you dont realize how poor they are. Also on a side note they use your personal information for their own use. Their son was in a piano competition and sent quite a few text messages asking for your votes.

I found that quite inappropriate to use my personal information for their own personal use. I have had work done with my new dentist that didn't feel right, smooth or what have you and they always fix it free of charge. If your filling falls out at west street dental they will have you pay them again even if it's the next week! Dentist work is expensive anyways. . . go here and its breaks the bank having to pay for the same thing over and over

Unprofessional. The experience began with a call received regarding an appointment that I had never rescheduled. During this call I advised West Street Dental I had not rescheduled as I had moved out of the area and would not be able to attend their location during their set hours. Coincidentally after disclosing I would not be returning due to distance, they advised me I had a balance of roughly $300. 00 owing. This was the first time being notified of this balance during those 9 months.

The receptionist/bookkeeper told me that they didn't realize until that point that benefits had not gone through. Upon completing the payments I called to get a receipt, letter, or a simple email stating that my account was up to date with the payments received noted. My reasoning valid as I was currently paying a bill from 9 months previous, and wanted to cover myself should anything else arise. I was told this would cost me $35. 00 as it would take roughly half an hour to write an email with this information. I was told by the Receptionist that she could ***put any charges on my account at any time, and then it would be my word against theirs if the work was actually done.

**** I expressed my concern about that statement as this situation was currently about a bill from 9 months previous and how I was now uneasy that if that was the case if they had not just added this charge to my account. The Receptionist said that if i feel that way I should go ahead and sue her, I should find a new dentist, and then hung up the phone. A response that was so unprofessional, led me to asking a very valid question, which somehow led to an outburst and being hung up on. VERY Unprofessional and Concerning. I would keep looking!!
