I was going there for 15 years and then they dropped the ball. They disowned me after one of the dentists screwed up one of my Molars. I wish I had written down the names of those doctors. Never be rude to your customers. This is what they do if you don’t respect them. 1 year or 50 years, they are your customers.

The dentists here are ok but the front desk is absolutely the worst. The one who calls herself the Manager is mean, rude and could care less about the patients . She is unbelievably horrible. and acts like a she comes off the street.
The other big issue is they have a group of dentists that come in sporadically. ONCE COME IN EVERY TWO WEEKS, and then goes on vacation so its often a month between visits. Then they use a lab that takes more than a month to get anything back so a process that takes 2 weeks normally takes months.

I believe these "great" reviews are from patients who haven't experienced a good dentist or are being enumerated to leave these reviews. The Front desk here was wonderful, but the Dentist is the more important piece and my experience was not a great one. In a nutshell: I was in severe pain and my regular dentist's office was overbooked. I tried this place in desperation, which I had no problem doing because I was (1) in a lot of pain and (2) in search of a new location for me and my family, anyway. With the pain I was in, the dentist here took one look and said I had swelling and needed to have my wisdom tooth removed. I informed him that I had several consultations with surgeons over the years and none of them could remove it because it was sitting on a nerve. He proceeded to give me a piece of paper with a list of surgeons and sent me on way. I didn't feel right so I turned back and asked questions like "do I have an infection"? "Do I need antibiotics?" "Is there anything that can be done to help me with the pain?" And he simply told me to just go see a surgeon, make an appointment to have the wisdom tooth removed and to continue to TAKE MOTRIN.
Didnt take time to say how much to take or explain why I had swelling or anything! Plus Motrin is a medication that is really not good for the stomach lining if constantly taken. What medical professional pushes that on someone, for something like this? But the wonderful ladies at the front desk assured me he was an experienced dentist. . . although I still didnt feel right. Today, I woke up with my lymph nodes swollen and still in pain. Was finally able to be seen at my regular dentist's office and it turns out I have a SEVERE infection that was starting to spread and actually NEED antibiotics. Will never EVER go back to this place again and could not recommend it to anyone, with confidence.
There were no patients sitting in the waiting room - - at all - - and I can understand why. Very inexperienced Dentists who put my health at risk. Note: this location goes by so many different names as well and it makes me wonder if it's a way to evade bad reviews: (1) "Illustradent Dental" (2) "Westchester Dental Services" at 1730 Central Park Ave. . . just to name 2. If you go here, please be careful and advocate hard for yourself or just go to another dentist.
