Dr. Jamali brings extensive education and training to the center, having obtained his dental degree from Columbia University and his medical degree and oral and maxillofacial surgery training from the University of Michigan. His training includes a focus on reconstruction and microvascular surgery, as well as two years of general surgery and advanced training in anesthesia. Before establishing Westgate Implant and Oral Surgery Center, Dr. Jamali served as a full-time assistant professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he instructed residents and dental students and contributed to numerous publications. He continues to teach residents at Illinois Masonic Hospital, where he also treats facial trauma cases.
