I use to take my kids to the Children’s Clinic and the whole clinic (from the receptionist area, to the PA’s) were the most uncompassionate and inappropriate pediatricians office I ever did see before switching here and Chandler is the absolute BEST! He takes time to address my Children’s needs and actually cares about their overall health and well-being….

Also, the front office staff were so friendly and compassionate, I will NEVER go anywhere else!!!! 🙂

Finding PA Sparkman here has been a godsend. He is extremely knowledgeable and kind. I almost gave up hope that I could find a primary physician to help me with my medical issues until I found PA Sparkman (Chandler).

I recently moved to Estill county and needed to establish a family practitioner. I went for my first appointments because I had an urgent eye issue and was having an issue with my right hand as well. First the NP (Chandler) was supposed to call me in an antibiotic for my eye. Two days later I am calling (on a Friday) they tell me he is out till Monday they will send him a note.

Its an antibiotic…WTH Anyway, on Monday I called back and this person cant find me in the system. (They found me on Friday!)🫤 Why you ask because they have my birthday wrong! Even after they ask you, you write it on ten forms and THEN she says I will need to come into the office with ID to correct it…. THEY TOOK A PICTURE OF MY DRIVERS LICENSE…this place shouldn’t be seeing animals! What a bunch of incompetent people! Clearly my frustration is at a max with them!

I saw Dr. Stephens today for a tooth extraction and I would like to say he is fantastic. I needed nerve blocks for said extraction and he made it painless. His tech is equally amazing; kind, skilled , and reassuring.

Moreover, I would like to add that I have been a patient at WHC for quite some time. At one point my financial resources were quite slim and although I am doing better now, I still choose to go there for services because they treated me like a human when I was poor. I think there is really something to be said for that.
