I switched to this provider when my dentist retired because it was in my plan. Previously I had considerable out of plan costs and assumed the transfer to an in plan provider meant their dentists and support staff would be overbooked or less skilled. Dr. Shamuelov is extremely skilled . I had no pain with my tooth extraction/bone graft and no post surgery issues.

His staff is extremely professional and accommodating. They filed all insurance forms in a timely manner . No delays in getting appointments. I wish I switched to this practice years ago.

This practice is going downhill. The hygienist is always wonderful, but everything else was a mess. My regular checkup took over 90 minutes (should be 45 tops), and I spent extensive amounts of time just sitting in the dental chair waiting for someone to come do theIr job. No heads up from anyone about the delays. You have to pay for parking in this area and most spots are 1-hour max, so I'm incredibly lucky I didn't get a ticket. The dentist who eventually showed up at the end wasn't Dr.

Roman ("my" dentist) but someone else. Can't say who because she never introduced herself. She clicked around my mouth for under 8 seconds and said everything looks great. Didn't look at a single x-ray that was taken, and the hygienist was already gone so she didn't talk to him about his concerns at all. Poor communication, poor care, not respectful of my time.

My appointment was at 10:00 am. Granted, I walked in at 10:02, but I would expect the room I'm assigned to would be set up and ready to go. They took me into the room; nothing is set up. A few moments later, the x ray tech comes in, doesn't say a word except "someone will be with you in a moment.

" Proceeds to go about his conversation with another technician. Its now 10:05. Meanwhile, all the other employees around me are laughing and joking as if they don't have patients to see. The tech doesn't come back until 10:10 to take my xrays.

The hygienist doesn't come in until 10:20; again she is in mid conversation with another employee; not even acknowledging that I'm waiting. I politely interrupt their very important pow wow to let them know that my appointment was at 10:00, its now 10:20, and i have a meeting for work at 11:00 that I cannot be late for, which I explained when I made the appointment and was assured it wouldn't be an issue. And then to make excuses, saying "my appointment is budgeted for an hour so we're actually on time?" Please do better!
