Stephanie is the best!! She is the only good, caring knowledgeable person left. The office manager is a spoiled awful person, acts like she's 12. This dental office sure isn't what it used to be. Used to be greeted by a person who knew your name, now check yourself in at the computer.

So many people for such poor customer service. Been going to this dentist for years, including my kids. I'll never step foot in any of the offices ever again nor will I recommend them to anyone.

I would like to share my experience that I had with Whitaker Family Dental in Defiance Ohio . If you are looking for a thorough and professional dentist , look no further than Dr Bilen DDS ! He along with DR Berringer put together a perfect plan that fit my most difficult need .

When it came time to the day to perform my procedure Dr Bilen and his wonderful assistant , put me in a time that not only worked for me but he blocked out a whole morning of his busy schedule to do the procedure. Together with his assistant they made me feel calm , and relaxed he even put on music that would help calm the nerves that we all have when going to the dentist .

They explained every step in increments that I could understand , although I already had the trust in Dr Bilen s work from past dental procedures , this was more than a half hour work ! I am very satisfied with the outcome and with the financial help that's offered , being on Medicare and my plan doesn't offer financial assistance , I would never consider another dentist office. I brought my son here for a cleaning, which went great. Fast forward to now, we went in for a 6 month cleaning. After a 30 minute drive and another almost 30 minutes of waiting we were called back. They quickly scheduled a follow-up then when they went to start the cleaning the assistant ran off and a front desk lady came back to let me know they don't accept our insurance.

(It is the exact same insurance we had 6 months earlier when we initially came in. ) I left extremely mad and called to speak with the office manager. She proceeded to tell me we never checked in (which we did on the provided kiosk that they push you to use), when she couldn't rebuttal that I was told it was my responsibility to go to the front desk as well (there is signage saying to use the kiosk). After I explained how angry I was at driving all that way to have only wasted my time and gas, I was told it was my fault because I changed my son's insurance (which I did not).

I am extremely unimpressed and the constant trying to blame the patient from the staff is unacceptable. Do not go here unless you want to waste your time. I'll be sure to let everyone I know that visits this business just how rude and inconsiderate the staff, especially the office manager is.
