I had a terrible experience with this dental office. They billed me eight months after a procedure — far past the service date — which meant I could no longer appeal the charge through my insurance (which only allows appeals within 180 days). I was given no prior notice of this charge, and the delay feels completely unreasonable. To make matters worse, they are now refusing to release my X-rays unless I pay the disputed balance.

This is not only unprofessional, but also a violation of patient rights under Connecticut law. I’ve submitted a formal request and will be reporting the office to the Department of Public Health if this is not resolved. I strongly advise others to avoid this practice — their billing practices are poor, their communication is lacking, and they are not acting in good faith with patients.

This is hands down the best dental office I have gone to. They are very thorough and tell me everything I need to know to help care for my teeth. The Dentist, Hygienist, and front desk receptionist are all lovely.
