The whole dental experience was amazing at Dr. Nguyen's office! Everyone was very pleasant and calming which is great for someone who had been putting off a trip to the dentist for several years.

How important is competence to you? Dr. Nguyen is highly competent. 10 stars! I had seen 3 dentists within several days before I had an emergency appointment with Dr. Nguyen. I felt MOST SAFE under his care, Dr Nguyen's care. What a difference in skill and experience! Dr. Nguyen explained what was happening in my mouth. I had tooth pain that was increasing every few hours. Within 30 seconds, he saw 4 cavities and believed that was the source of pain, not a root canal as said by Dr.

X and Y. My cavities-- deep holes were filling up with food and liquid, so that is likely why I had the lingering pain. He was able to quickly explain what is going on and also, what the next steps will be. I first went to my clinic and saw Dr X at my clinic didn't even see the 1. 2. 3. 4 cavities. She tapped on the teeth and put the air on the tooth and said "Well, I don't know, you likely need a root canal. " She just passed me off to an endodontist with no mention of any cavities.

The 2nd dentist at the clinic said my teeth looked fine. I would show you a picture, but it is so gross. A lay person could tell you there were problems with the teeth. There is a difference in the quality of care. My vote is with Dr. Nguyen. Go with a dentist who knows their field. The dental hygienist was knowledgeable too.

Best dentist I have ever had! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! And we have a mutual love of gardening which is always fun to talk about during visits! It’s the little things, right?
