I have dealt with 25 years of pain from a botched root canal. After so much frustration with traditional dental practices, I started researching holistic and biological dentistry.

How grateful I was to find Dr Wood just an hour away!! I have never in my life had such a pleasant, positive and painless experience at a dentist office! He is kind, thoughtful and very thorough in treating you as a whole person and not just a dental procedure. His staff is also very pleasant I would highly recommend Wood Dental!

Fabulous appointment, I applaud DR. Woods for the technique and care received. He is the best dentist, and I have seen at least 5-10 in WNY, and by far he is the best. Thank You Dr. Woods for your superior care and expertise.

My wife came back from a visit with Dr. Wood feeling uncomfortable and like she was taken advantage of. Here's why: 1. Fear mongering: Dr. Wood told my wife that her root canal was going to cause serious problems, despite it causing any current issues. He used scare tactics and sent her home with a brochure called “The Root of Evil” (photo attached).

He also made my wife get an X-ray that wasn’t covered by insurance just to look at one tooth, and told her that if they didn't look at it there was a chance it could lead to cancer. 2. Inappropriately talking about my wife's appearance and guilting her into a product by critiquing her teeth: Dr. Wood told my wife she needed to purchase their Invisalign-like product, SureSmile, by saying “Your teeth look like buck teeth, but they’re not. I’m not flirting with you, but SureSmile would make such an improvement on your overall appearance and smile. ” My wife said she had already used a similar product, and Dr.

Wood scoffed saying "Well, they didn't work". 3. Inappropriately talking to my wife while rubbing her neck: Dr. Wood rubbed the back of her neck checking for lumps/throat cancer, and while doing it said “If it feels good it’s extra. ” Overall, she won't be going back and felt like they tried to push several products on her via awkward and inappropriate methods.

I can't say enough good things about Wood Dental Associates. If you're looking for a more natural approach to dentistry like I was, then this is your place. Each experience I've had with them has been amazing. Dr. Wood and his entire staff are kind, caring, and patient. They personally made me feel safe, well cared for, and made sure I wasn't in any pain.

I had a pain-free oral tooth surgery and never would have imagined dental care could be like that. Dr. Wood cares for the whole person. You'll walk out of there feeling blessed.
