I am writing to share my experience with the receptionist at your office, MeMe, during my recent visit. Unfortunately, I found her behavior to be extremely unprofessional and confrontational. I was taken aback by the lack of courtesy and respect she displayed in her interactions with me, which made my visit uncomfortable. I believe that a receptionist in a dental office should exemplify professionalism, kindness, and helpfulness when dealing with patients. Unfortunately, my experience with MeMe was the opposite.

I left feeling disrespected and unsure about how my appointment would proceed. I hope that this feedback can be used to address the issue and ensure that future patients are greeted with the level of professionalism and courtesy they deserve. This was not a good first time experience! Staff was late,then the receptionist walks in 15 minutes late looking at me like she's upset because she's late, she didn't apologize or speak, she didn't bother to check my identification or my insurance. I ended up leaving. There's no way that I would ever pay the amount of money for the type of dental work that I was looking to get with this kind of unprofessionalism in this office.

I try to support black owned businesses but with this type of nonsense happening it makes it very difficult. Sad sad sad.

Have had two bad experiences at this location and will not be returning. First, arrived for appointment with toddler and was told they didn't have a dentist that day. Second, appointment for cleaning took three hours to complete because there was one dentist and 8-10 patients. It's a shame because I wanted to support the Woodlawn community.
