We were looking for a new family dentist and decided to try Woodside & Woodside, specifically Tammy Eckart, DDS. We pass by their office several times a week since we live in the neighborhood. The office is conveniently located with ample parking, but very close to the number 11 Metro bus line for those who would prefer not to drive. When you walk inside, the staff is very courteous and professional. The office is unpretentious and pleasant.
It's easy to see that while they keep it modern and professional, they don't waste money on frills like indoor fountains and making the place seem like it caters to swankiness. It's pleasant, professional and has great natural lighting. On my first visit, they took the time to get to know me, ask about my routine and general health, and seemed incredibly patient with some of my questions following the exam and cleaning. I like that they didn't push unnecessary items like a specials pre-cleaning rinse, prescription toothpaste, numbing gel just to clean my teeth. In fact, I felt no pain.
If anything, I just felt comfortable and satisfied that I made a great choice to see Dr. Eckhart and the team. I highly recommend if you're looking for a compassionate dentist.

Everyone there is awesome. The receptionist went above and beyond, tracking down my dental insurance information because I couldn’t find my card. The technician gave me a full walkthrough of the work that would be done. And the dentist was very professional and friendly.
I was well taken care of by the whole team. I was an emergency walk in and they fit me in on their half day. I definitely recommend them.
