DrChen is amazing dentist. Beautiful facility, very clean. Got braces for my kid. Had pain over weekend and DrChen came brought her in and adjusted braces. Very honest, thorough. Strongly recommended.

Update: In the doctor’s reply, he admitted to his insulting words and behavior toward my child and further criticized us for not educating our child properly. I am deeply disappointed by the doctor’s lack of professionalism and work ethics in treating patients this way. While he did not (and can’t) deny any of the facts I mentioned, he instead threatened to send a bill—one that I did not consent to and do not recognize—to a collection agency, as stated in his response to this review. I hope everyone will carefully evaluate their options when considering this doctor. If you’ve had a similar experience, I encourage you to file a complaint with the Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners. Our children and all patients deserve to be treated with respect and care by qualified dental professionals. ——————Original Review Below————— I am still in shock after what was, without a doubt, the worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. 1.

Disrespectful behavior towards patients. My 6-year-old was waiting while her sister was being checked, and her water bottle leaked on the floor. Instead of addressing the situation politely, the doctor disdainfully asked, “Did she pee on the ground?” When we explained it was water and requested a paper towel to clean it up, the doctor THREW the paper towels on the ground without saying a word. 2. Unwillingness to explain the treatment plan. My child’s treatment plan seemed significantly longer and more expensive compared to others we know who visit this clinic. When I asked the doctor—politely—about the reasoning behind this, he repeatedly and impatiently said, “It’s case by case, I can’t explain, okay?” There was no effort to clarify or address my concerns. 3.

Lack of transparency regarding billing. After the consultation, we decided not to proceed with this doctor due to the negative experiences. However, no one informed us about fees for the visit beforehand. As we were leaving, the front desk staff ran out to ask us to pay for photos and/or x-rays we weren’t aware of. When we asked for an itemized bill or statement before paying, they refused, saying it would be sent later. This lack of transparency felt unprofessional and dishonest. Overall, this experience was unacceptable, and I would not recommend this practice to anyone seeking respectful and transparent care for their children.

My wife and I were referred to Dr. Chen by our dentist for some advanced dental needs. We have been seeing Dr. Chen for about a year and we are very pleased with his professionalism, skillful mastery of his craft, and his genuine commitment to excellence. Dr. Chen is punctual with his appointments and we are always greeted with a welcoming smile.

The good doctor’s impressive professional resume is admirable but what we like most about Dr. Chen is his humble demeanor, wonderful sense of humor, and warmhearted approach to life. Wow Dental Orthodontics receives our highest praise and recommendations. Dr. Chen is an asset to the Las Vegas community and we are confident that you will be as pleased as we are with his services.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chens for over a year and can not say enough good things about him!! I was referred to Dr. Chen by my dentist and I am so thankful to have found such a caring and kind doctor. I was always so nervous to start my braces journey. Prior to Dr. Chen I had two consultations with other doctors and they always made me feel pressured to move forward with treatment even when I was showing hesitation. Meeting Dr. Chen was such a breath of fresh air.

He made me feel so comfortable and reassured me of all my concerns. Each appointment he lets me know exactly what is going on, what we are going to do next, and what to expect. It has been such an easy process and Dr. Chen is the reason why. Even when I have ran late to appointments or rescheduled appointments Dr. Chen always says no problem and greets me with a smile each visit. I have even lost the rubber bands he provided me for my braces and when I called him to ask what size were they so I could order some new ones and he immediately said don't do that just come pick up some more. In one visit I mentioned how I was grinding my teeth a lot and within seconds I had a brand new mouth guard in my hands.

I hope these examples show just how thoughtful and caring Dr. Chen is because he deserves so much credit. He has always been so kind and understanding and our monthly appointments have become one of my favorite parts of the month. Thank you Dr. Chen for making this so easy for me! I truly feel so lucky to be one of your patients.
