Dentist of horror! Do not bring children to see Dr. Wright. A dentist drilling teeth without anesthetic on a child is abusive and traumatizing.

Having a child hang on to his chair in tears of pain, distress, and discomfort is inhumane. An invasive procedure on a child should be performed by a dentist whose practice is specific for kids. Old butching practices of old dentists have to stop on children!

Initially came here on recommendation for being a dental practice that focuses on people with dental anxiety. This couldn’t have been further from the truth. From the moment I walked in the office, I should have seen the red flags that this practice is everything but professional. I went in for tooth pain that ended up being cracked tooth syndrome, however, this was entirely ignored initially, and rather than trying to identify or look for cracks or try to isolate the issue, a quick exam was performed, a rushed cleaning was performed and I was shuffled out the door. I was back almost immediately because the pain continued to get worse. My teeth got ground to correct a crashing teeth, but that didn’t address the pain and clear signs of a crack. So I was back just days later for a root canal. But this is where it gets scary. At no point was I explained what was actually being done to me, I asked questions and they were brushed aside, no guidance was given about what and what and what to expect from the procedure was given, yet alone care instructions. In the car of the parking lot, the pain was even worse than it had been before the root canal. But surely, it was just post op discomfort.

I picked up my antibiotics and went home. For the follow up appointment, the pain was ramping up again, new symptoms of extreme sensitivity to tapping were present, but before I could even say a word I was already being numbed up and prepped for work. Again, not a single sentence of instruction, guidance, or expectations were given. Two days later I’m in agony, I can’t eat, I can’t sleep, and I message the office to let them know, and they let me know it’s time to pull the tooth. I would like to remind you, I have extreme dental anxiety, I’m clearly nervous and shaking just walking into the office, and just minutes after having anesthetic applied the pliers are coming out and on the verge of a full blown panic attack am I even asked for my input for the very first time if I would like nitrous, ABSOLUTELY. But get this, it was left on, and at no point did I feel anything from it. They ran out. It took 4 attempts to remove the tooth at which point I’m crying and shaking and hyperventilating. I’m shuffled out the door with a baggy of gauze, and I ask for guidance on post op care, and I’m told “maybe don’t eat rice. ”. I’m also down to 4 days of antibiotics from the initial failed root canal.

The problem here is that, there was no post op check up scheduled, no pamphlet of a timeline or guidance on complications or when to reach out or anything, I’m baffled but barely able to speak and in pain. Sure enough, I got dry socket despite having to search for my own information about how to handle post op care, and only when I ask about the antibiotics, am I notified for the very first time, that there was supposed to be a post op checkup. What a clown show. So, clear signs of infection, extreme pain, it’s irrigated and I’m sent home with the only instruction or “it may take a second treatment” but not a single word about when to reach back out. The next week I tried for several days to contact the office while unable to speak from the pain and finally had to fire this office. I found a new dentist who was shocked and appalled by the behavior and treatment of this unprofessional dental practice. And the icing on the cake? The teeth around the still yet to close socket over 5 weeks post extraction, are now showing signs of potentially being cracked from the extraction. If you value your teeth and money and sanity, please go somewhere else.

If I could give it less stars I would. DO NOT GO HERE! Ever. I went in on an internal reference for just one single root canal. It was never finished. He worked on it over five selerate plus visits and couldn’t get it right and it still to this day hurts and is not finished.

Not even the worst of it the last I reached out I was told he was on vacation and within 2 weeks I had a judgement against me for 5000$ plus dollars! Now a COURT ORDER has been set against me for a garnishment of 6000$ plus dollar for ONE ROOT CANAL worked on countless times and still not fixed still tearing up my mouth. Should have had it pulled myself. I’m a single dad a disabled single dad and out of no where a garnishment is placed against me. They won’t even work with me to set up payment plans and I never expected one root canal to cost me 6000$. Now over 300$ gets taken from my check.

Now I’m being put in the position as a single parent to file for bankruptcy. you don’t deserve this money your work was never finished and took advantage of me. Hope you can sleep at night knowing your destroying families. Seriously guys stay away.
