I've been taking my kids here since Youngbauer ran it. We missed one annual checkup and it was made into a big deal by a know-it-all Dental Assistant who was even offering Orthodontist recommendations. They don't do those procedures. The thing that burns me the most is this is a SMALL town. They all know me and my kids, who just recently lost their mother and NO ONE in the office had any manners or common courtesy. This is the reason the kids last appointment got cancelled.
Not one single person said sorry for your loss or offered condolences. Extremely rude. Staff and office manager, sort of (wife of DDS), Sarah need customer service training. Acknowledge all patients who come in, especially kids.

If you are looking for small town service, this is not the place to go. Living in a small town, I prefer to support local businesses. The previous dentists were lovely. They were willing to work with you financially and would get you in right away if you had an emergency. They had reasonable prices and were flexible when working with you. I tried to work with YC Family Dental, but they honestly don’t seem to care.
I’ve been living with a broken tooth for 3 months, trying to come up with the money to pay for it. Today, after waking up every couple hours with the worst pain I’ve had and a swollen, throbbing tooth, I tried to get in. The earliest they can get me in is 4 days away. I don’t think I can handle the pain that long. So, my business is not going to stay in our community.

I went in for a tooth pain, he touched my tooth three times. That’s it. It’s infected, we need to do a root canal. Let’s schedule it. Didn’t even give me a chance to say anything. Antibiotics and come back almost two weeks later for the root canal. Medicaid was my insurance, I’d have to pay 230$/after root canal, and then approx. 900$ for my crown. Unbelievable. Out of pocket cost was around $1,100 for next appt. Took my business elsewhere and my out of pocket price was $390.
00 for everything. Root canal, build up, and crown. They just don’t take enough time with each patient. & on top of it, when I went to the other dentist, they told them that I cancel my appointments and reschedule a lot. I’ve only made 2 appointments in my lifetime with these people. Small town business ain’t always good people. You got a one star for me. Be more compassionate. Find a new receptionist as well. Crabby people make your business suck!
