I moved to Montana from New Hampshire about 18 months ago and needed a new dentist. I went to the first I saw. I don't want to trash a place and call them out, so let's just make up a name for a bad dentist, something like, I don't know, Turley. After 6 visits to them, charged for things I didn't need and care that wasn't caring at all, I decided I needed to change.

I went to Yellowstone and I've been 3 times now and every trip has been nothing short of spectacular. I'm not proud of my grill but I actually wish I could share pics of it here to show just what great work yellowstone has done. I've recommended them to 2 friends and my girlfriend and her kids to make the switch to yellowstone and I can't say enough good about the place.

SKIDOO RULZ

YFD there for the money not the patient! They demand payment up front even if you have insurance. They try to figure out what they think insurance will pay and demands payment of the remainder before they will provide service. Then when they find out 2 months later that insurance pays more than they estimated they want to know if you want the credit for your next visit or a refund. When you tell them you will be in to get an immediate refund they say we have to mail you a check. You have to wait for your money back but they won't wait for you to mail a check for what insurance didn't cover. Then they have been telling everyone that you need two cleanings a year which would be every 6 months but when you come in and get a cleaning they can't schedule you in for your next 6 month cleaning for 8 or 9 months! They advertise they are always taking new patients but they can't even take care of their existing patients the way they them selves say needs to be done! They advertise same day care for emergencies but break a tooth on the Sunday and call Monday morning to get it fixed and they tell you their next available appointment is out one and a half months. Ask them what happened to same day emergency care and they say "are you in pain"? Well yeah I broke a tooth, there is pain. Well we can get you in on Thursday.

So much for same day! Currently looking for another dentist because YFD has become more like Brewer became, assembly line cash cow! Update on this pathetic practice. I had an appointment in May that evidently the office manager canceled because they didn't like my review and tha I said I was looking for another dentist. Then in late May I get an email stating I was past due for a cleaning so I waited a week or so and called to schedule an appointment and explained that I had made an appointment in Oct for my next visit. The scheduler that I talked to found no appointment so made me one for June 10th at 8 am. I arrive on the 10th and I am told I don't have any appointment for this day. We go back and forth and the receptionist says we'll it says here you got another dentist. I said no I didn't. The schedular that made my appointment heard what was going on came over and said I am who he talked to and it was for today at 8 am.

(They probably fired that poor lady after I walked out). Then another person got involved and said well the manager canceled today's appointment because you said you got another dentist. I said if I got another dentist why did I make an appointment just last week to come in today? I told them in my review that I was looking for another dentist but never told anyone at this office that. Then they said well let us look to see when we can get you in. I told them forget it and walked out. This practice is absolutely pathetic and all they care about is the all mighty dollar not the patient. They are assembly line mass production practice. Stay away unless you want to be treated like a number!

Don’t believe their commercials. THOUSANDS of dollars later for repair of my husband’s tooth (also left with a temporary tooth for several months…(which is unheard of) they were “finished” with 2 front teeth that didn’t match in color so they decided to bleach the other front tooth to match and literally tried to charge for that. The bleaching did not work, so needed repair and they had the audacity to give him a “discounted” estimate…. and wait…. when asked why a charge at all, the response was that they don’t work for free…It’s the only honesty we experienced from them. The actual decision makers…. . yes you Dr.

Larsen… are conveniently unavailable to discuss. It’s the most outrageous treatment we have ever experienced at a dental office. So over a year later…. He now is scheduled with a new dentist office to start over and pay new bills. Trust me…. Run far and fast from this place.

The staff here are absolutely wonderful and they have been very attentive to my dental needs and very accommodating with my appointments. Delilah is very caring and excellent at her job. The procedure I had done was not easy, but my doctor and Delilah made me feel comfortable and made it easier to handle.

I now have a gorgeous smile, thanks to their team and I appreciate their hard work and their work ethic. Thank you Yellowstone!!
