Dr. Will Shin is an amazing oral surgeon! Before my appointment, he was able to clearly communicate everything I needed to know to prepare. I also told him I've had dental trauma and he did everything in his power to ease my anxiety and nerves. The actual process was very quick and painless.

Even after my surgery, Dr. Shin was amazing in checking on me and giving me post-surgery advice and encouragement. Overall, my best experience ever with dental work.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. William Shin during a tooth extraction on November 18, 2024, At Ace dental care. My appointment was scheduled for 12:00 PM, but I wasn’t seen until 12:57 PM with no apology for the delay. When he finally made his grand entrance, he didn’t introduce himself or explain the procedure. I tried explaining my symptoms, however he quickly cut me off mid sentence and said well let’s get started, He then aggressively jabbed the numbing needle into my mouth without warning, and I yelped in pain multiple times—a first for me at the dentist. The extraction was even worse. I was awake for the entire thing, and Dr. Shin’s abrupt, rushed movements made me genuinely afraid he might injure me permanently.

Everything was happening so fast, I was in visible discomfort, but he ignored it. I later learned I was his last extraction of the day, which explains the rush, but it’s no excuse for such reckless and careless behavior. After the procedure, Dr. Shin just walked out without a word. I didn’t even know if the procedure was finished—I looked up, and he was gone. He didn’t ask if I was okay or provide any explanation of what had just happened. This was after he clearly knew I was uncomfortable throughout the procedure—As i was visibly in distress and yelping multiple times, yet he ignored it entirely. His assistant was left to go over the post-op instructions, which were so vague and unhelpful that I had to Google proper care myself to ensure I wouldn’t do something wrong.

The fact that a medical professional could behave with such a complete lack of communication, compassion, and basic decency was absolutely shocking. This was the most traumatic dental experience of my life. Dr. Shin’s rough handling, Tardiness, lack of communication, and complete disregard for my care makes him unfit to be treating anyone. This was quick money gig for him, and it showed. Avoid him at all costs.

I got my left side wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Shin and it was the best dental experience I’ve had! He made sure that I was comfortable, informed me about any concerns that I’ve had and was very quick with the procedure. I didnt feel any pain when he was working on me. I would have Dr. Shin work on me again! I highly recommend this amazing doctor!
