Staff is always pleasant and personable and my grandbabies love Dr. Young! From the time you are greeted by the amazing front desk staff, until you leave, you feel seen and heard. They go above and beyond to ensure the kids' comfort.

I love that asking young people for their consent is also normalized in the space. My kiddos always know what's coming and what's happening during their cleanings and other procedures and I feel well informed too. I would highly recommend them!

Dr. Young and his staff are always amazing. My son has been attending since he was 3. He is now about to be 16 and he has only ever gone to this dental practice.

We have only ever had great experiences! Dr. Young and his staff have always been both personable and professional. He communicates well with my son and me regarding his oral health. We absolutely love Young and Polite! For as long as my son remains of age, this is where we will be! Thank you, Young and Polite for the best dental experience a kid could ever have!

I started my son’s dental journey when he was a toddler and I loved the Mint Hill location. Once it closed, I heard nothing from Young and Polite—no follow ups, nothing. I eventually called the Steele Creek location to continue my son’s visits. They had no records of my son ever visiting. I had to go back through the new patient process again (eventually they found his records).

I began receiving visit confirmations via text from both the Steele Creek and University locations. When my son got his cleaning done at one location, we discovered there was no communication between the offices. So what happened was both locations sent me visit overdue messages and I visited one in July and one in November of 2024. When we came for our visit today, the very nice receptionist informed me that I had a balance and that insurance would not cover me going to another dentist. Huh? The other dentist was your other location! They have to get their computer systems updated and aligned.

It makes no sense that they don’t have one system where they can all see and that will eliminate this unnecessary confusion. If they do have this in place then more training is needed. Overall I have been very pleased with Young and Polite.
