The worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. This orthodontist was incredibly rough with my teeth, to the point where I genuinely feared he might break them. Anytime I raised a concern about my braces, he would rush through it, and it was often difficult to understand him. When I got my braces removed in 2022, the process was extremely uncomfortable. He applied so much pressure while removing them that it was unbearable. Immediately after, he told me to brush my teeth. While brushing, my gums started bleeding heavily.

I initially thought it was due to having swollen gums from wearing braces. He completed the usual post-removal process, including scans and photos. A week later, during a cleaning appointment with my regular dentist, I was shocked to learn that one of my teeth was cracked. The dentist asked if I had fallen or had an accident, but I had no such incident. I told them about how rough my orthodontist had been when removing my braces, but they dismissed it and said they couldn’t be sure. They then quoted me $750 for a crown because my insurance wouldn’t cover the cost. Wanting to confirm my suspicion, I called my orthodontist’s office to request the scans and photos taken after my braces were removed.

The staff took 20 minutes to search before telling me they had no record of them and asked me to call back the next day. When I called again, I was put on hold for 30 minutes, only for the call to be disconnected without any follow-up. I’ve tried filing complaints and working with my insurance, but no one seems willing to take responsibility. To this day, I still have a cracked tooth and am expected to pay $750 for an issue that wasn’t my fault. This doctor is careless and unprofessional. If you care about your teeth, DO NOT trust this orthodontist. Spare yourself the frustration and pain I’ve had to endure!
