Dr. Aaron Vafakos received his Dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1995. Upon completion of his dental degree, he completed a General Practice residency at John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland in 1996. He received his certificate in Oral surgery in 2000 from Woodhill Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York. After completing his training he joined the Oral Surgery practice of Mitcherling, Mitcherling & Johnson, Bel Air, Maryland where he practiced until 2006. At this time he joined Broadway Oral Surgery, Bel Air, Maryland where he continues to practice. He has been an active member of the American Association of Oral sureons since July 2000. He is also a member in good standing with The American Dental Association, The Mid Atlantic Society of Oral Surgeron, The Harford Cecil Dental Implant Study Club, The Maryland Dental Asociation, and The Maryland Society of Oral Surgeons. Dr Vafakos has been a member of the medical staff at The University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center for over 15 years. Dr. Vafakos is well respected by the dental community and his patients. He was featured in the Aegis newspaper by a patient who was extremely pleased how she was treated by Dr. Vafakos and his staff. He continues to practice with a high level of concern for his patients.
