Care Philosophy

Dr. Raghavan graduated from Temple University™s Kornberg School of Dentistry, with a Summa cum Laude, among the top ten of her class. She describes her approach to dentistry as a comprehensive approach, where she treats the patient as a whole and the mouth is an important part of that. She believes this enhances the patient™s health, well-being, nutrition and lifestyle. She loves calling herself a family dentist and treats members of all ages in families beginning with oral care for infants to more complex treatments for older family members. She loves treating children of all ages and is just as comfortable treating children as she is with adults. Her specific interests in dentistry are crowns and bridges, implants and also other specialized treatments like Invisalign. Dr. Raghavan has been fully involved with dentistry from the age of 18. She had a Bachelor™s in Dental surgery from India before she went to Kornberg School of Dentistry. She believes that because she was raised in many countries, including the United States, it has given her the unique ability to interact with people with several different cultural backgrounds, adding a touch of compassion to her persona. She is also comfortable speaking multiple languages like Hindi and Tamil apart from English. She has also been to South America for mission trips because she believes in improving access to dentistry for everyone. Apart from dentistry she enjoys singing and volunteers as a singer for local fundraising events. She also enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs and enjoys being outdoors, running or just exploring the neighborhood for new cuisines.
