About
Dr. Stein received his dental degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. He went on to complete his prosthodontic residency training at The Ohio State University. He has a passion for dentistry and delivering the highest quality care to all of his patients. Dr. Stein is a prosthodontist, one of the nine recognized specialties by the American Dental Association. He has special training in restorative,implant, and esthetic dentistry. He was the recipient of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and the American College of Prosthodontist Awards. Dr. Stein is a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Academy of Osseointegration, and the American College of Prosthodontists. He developed an implant identification tool that has been used by dentists throughout the world. He is a fellow of the International Dental Implant Association. He lectures nationally and is published in the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants, a peer reviewed, evidence-based dental journal. Dr. Stein grew up in Montreal, Canada. He spent time in New York, Saint Louis, and Columbus during his training. He has resided in Chicago for over seven years. Dr. Stein was selected from an elite group of dental professionals to serve on the Clinical Advisory Board for a national dental company. He enjoys training and teaching other dental professionals interested in learning and delivering high quality dental care. Dr. Stein is tri-lingual and speaks English, French, and Hebrew. He is married and has three rambunctious boys ages 13, 10, and 6. When away from the office, he enjoys playing basketball, autocross car racing, and spending time with his family. Of note, Dr. Stein has completed over 1,500 All-On-4® immediate load implant cases during his career. Many of the patients he treated had very complex anatomical and physiological issues that had to be overcome. Having completed this many cases places Dr. Stein in the top 1% of dentists in the country for the All-On-Four® treatment option. He brings his clinical accumen, vast knowledge of implants and specific patient needs to The Stein Center for Advanced Dentistry.
