Dr Columbo and his staff are the most professional, caring and supportive team I’ve come across in a long time. There are few medical professionals here in Kansas City who truly care as these people are. They are the real deal and did 2 root canal’s in 2 days. He saved my teeth from certain extraction and a serious infection.
Dr. Columbo and his staff are wonderful. I am a senior citizen who has not had a root canal since I was 12 years old. Kelly was so kind as was Dr. Columbo during the whole procedure. The unknown is always scary but I felt at ease during the whole visit. Michelle was so professional and treated me with a personal touch not just another patient. I have had 7 root canals over the last 25 years by 5 different endodontists and I give Dr. Colombo 5 BIG stars along with his Assistant (Kelly) and Office Manager (Michelle). My experience started with my phone call to schedule an appointment and how warm, friendly, cheerful, and helpful Michelle was in getting me scheduled. On the day of my appointment, Michelle greeted me and had a big smile as I got all checked in. Kelly called me back and got my x-rays taken and made me feel at ease. (I also liked how they had TVs on as a distraction). She was super great during the whole procedure and even called me the next day to see if I was ok. Dr. Colombo is on a whole other level compared to the other endodontists I have gone to. He is caring, gentle, patient, and kind and explained everything to me that he was doing. I had Dr Colombo do my root canal ~ a year ago. No pain during the procedure. Very uncomfortable for ~3 days after. Called him, described pain, he asked that I give it another day. Next day, much better. After a week, back to normal.
Tomorrow he is doing another one for me (different tooth). My going back tells you how highly I regard him and his staff.
Dr. Colombo and his office are reasonable and patient. I contacted them for a root canal that I really didn't want. They indulged my pointless questions and didn't rush me into a decision. Dr. Colombo was highly attentive during the procedure, and -- four months later -- the infection hasn't returned.

Do not use this endodontist!! Seven months after he did a root canal on me I am much worse off! His work will have to be redone by another endodontist as it was not done properly!
