I have been to Dr. Matri twice now for a root canal. I refer everyone to this office because it is over all the best of the best. From the receptionist to the office manager, down to the dental assistant this team is wonderful. Dr. Marti himself did not hesitate to take his time which speaks volumes. His bedside manners along with the assistant are wonderful, you don’t see that often these days in any practice!
I cannot speak of medical part of the service I’ve received yet as I’m still healing, the doctor was not the gentlest though during the aneshtesia shot and dental surgery. I have a huge problem with their billing person and practices. They presented me with three different treatment plans. I’ve signed the first one that defined my patient’s responsibility as ~ $700.00. Suddenly, on a second visit right after my major dental surgery while I was still under local anesthesia and on painkillers their billing person Ale insisted that my total bill BEFORE she even sends it to my insurance is about $1300.00, which I have to pay right there on a spot because they ‘do not do anything for free, and the service was already provided.’ She insured me that if there is any overcharge after the bills run through insurance, she’ll promptly refund. That was a lie. Even after insurance paid they still owe me ~ $500.00 which they refuse to refund. I'm considering legal actions against this dental practice
Had to go to see Dr. Matri for a serious infection in my upper teeth that just couldnt be picked up on a normal xray machine.
But Dr. Matri found out why and where it was with his years of experience and sophisticated xray machine. I had lost most of the bone around my tooth and to my suprise the tooth was basicly just hanging in the gums.
Dr. Matri performed a serious cleaning out of the infection and performed a bone graph procedure to put some bone back in the roots and save my teeth. To my suprise I felt little to no pain during and after the procedure.
Now Im feeling no pain and feeling much better .
Im so glad my dentist Dr. Vaccaro in fairfax city pointed me in the right direction when he introduced me to Dr. Matri.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Matri and his staff at Oak Endodontics & Implant Dentistry.
I highly reccomend them to anyone needing serious dental work procedures , implants and root canal therapy.

Dr. Matri is a great dentist! While his office is very serene and spa like, it is his friendliness and patient attentiveness that really makes the experience great! He answers any question you have, asks how you are doing during the procedure, and then he follows up to make sure you are doing ok. My regular dentist referred me to Dr. Matri for the retreatment of a root canal and Dr. Matri was awesome. He comes highly recommended by anyone I talk to about him. If you need an endodontist, he is a great person to go to.
Dr Matri is an excellent doctor! When others were recommending pulling 2 to 4 of my teeth, Dr Matri said he could do the job without pulling any teeth and he did! I would highly recommend him. His office is great too.

I went to Dr. Matri to get my tooth implanted and he and his assistant, Yun, took great care of me. It was my first time getting this type of procedure so I was really nervous but Dr. Matri was very friendly, professional, and informative and this helped reduced my anxiety in going through with it. The procedure went smoothly and the only pain I felt was the local anesthesia (and everything else were painless). Dr. Matri really knows what he’s doing and I highly recommend him for dental implants
My first impression of Oak Endodontics was formed during a consultation in Dr Matri’s state of the art facility. This was a referral by my doctor of more than 30 years and I was a lot hesitant to see a new provider for two root canals. Everything went well and I can recommend him without hesitation. His great personality is what made me comfortable but his professional demeanor s why I give him such overall high marks.
