About
Dr. Swanson grew up in the small town of Plattsburg, Missouri. As a child, and some would argue even today, she had quite a sweet tooth. Due to her slight addiction to chocolate, she frequently found herself in her local dentist's chair. It was at this time, as a young girl, that Dr. Swanson realized that she wanted to be a dentist when she grew up. Dr. Swanson is a 2013 graduate of the University of Missouri at Kansas City's School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Upon graduation, she relocated to North Texas. While practicing at private clinic, she received her Fellowship and Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry and also received her Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
