About
Dr. Amber is originally from Xenia, Ohio, and graduated from Xenia High School in 1996. She continued her education at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. Dr. Amber then furthered her education at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2004. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Amber worked for one year at a small general dentistry practice in Chillicothe, Ohio, where she saw both adult and pediatric patients. During her first year of practice, she realized how much she enjoyed working with the younger dental population. Therefore, she took a new job for two years at a practice where she mainly treated children and young adults, and ultimately realized her dream was working with the younger patient population. Dr. Amber received a tremendous amount of experience working only with children and young adults, and continues to take rigorous continuing education courses in locations such as Chicago, Las Vegas, and Columbus, to further her knowledge of pediatric dentistry. She continued pursuing her dream by opening her very own practice, Smile Wright Dental, in 2007. Since then, she has had great pleasure in serving almost 8000 patients from Springfield, Xenia, Yellow Springs, Fairborn, Dayton, Urbana, Piqua, London, Washington Court House, Chillicothe, and other surrounding areas. Dr. Amber receives a lot of her patient base from referrals from other dentists, pediatricians, pre-schools, and health departments, and for these referrals she is extremely grateful.Dr. Amber lives in Beavercreek with her husband, Justin, 2 year old son, Brooks and their very sweet but frisky Peke-a-Pug puppy, Mylo, and their four rescue kitties, Moochie, Oliver, Yanna and Libbie.
