Welcome to Stone Ridge Orthodontics, located in Stone Ridge, VA, and run by top-ranked orthodontist, Dr. Anishka Frankenberry. Dr. Frankenberry believes having a great smile is important and enjoys working with patients to help them look and feel confident when they express themselves to the world. For Dr. Frankenberry, patient comfort and confidence are her goals, and it shows in the personalized care and treatment she provides. Dr. Frankenberry offers a wide variety of orthodontic services, including self-ligating braces, Invisalign®, WildSmiles®, Incognito™, and PROPEL®.
Originally from the Bahamas, Dr. Frankenberry earned her D.D.S. from Howard University College of Dentistry, in Washington DC, after earning her B.S. degree in Biology/Chemistry from Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada. After finishing her orthodontics residency at Howard, Dr. Frankenberry stayed in the area to hone her orthodontics practice for patients of all ages. She has been in practice for several years in the DC metro area, and she strives for excellence in developing orthodontic treatment plans for her patients.
In addition to providing superb orthodontic care, Dr. Frankenberry wants patients to enjoy visiting the office. She treats her patients to a comfortable and inviting waiting area, complete with games and iPads to enjoy as they get ready to sit in her chair.
Dr. Frankenberry and her husband, Brian, both enjoy working to make her orthodontics office one of the best in the area. In addition to his full-time job with the federal government, Brian helps out on the front desk at Stone Ridge Orthodontics and helps patients check in for their appointments. The Frankenberrys have two sons, whom they love spending time with, and they are the reason Dr. Frankenberry focuses on children's care in her practice. She wants to deliver to her patients the same kind of attention and care that she would expect other health professionals to give her sons. When Dr. Frankenberry isn't busy at her office, she enjoys bikram yoga and cooking for her family.
She is active in the community, lending her expertise and time to nonprofit organizations and schools, and helping underprivileged children get the dental treatments they need. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and a provider for Smiles Change Lives and Give Kids a Smile.
Dr. Frankenberry's office in Stone Ridge, Virginia, is just 30 miles west of downtown Washington, DC. She also serves patients in the nearby areas of Herndon, Chantilly, and Sterling, Virginia.
