About
Dr. Kiesel was born and grew up in Central Indiana. Upon graduation from high school, Dr. Kiesel served for four years in the United States Army as an Airborne Infantryman with the 1-501st Parachute Infantry Regiment. During that time he was stationed in Fort Richardson Alaska and deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. After his time of service he returned to Indiana. While working as an emergency Medical Technician and lab technician at IU Hospital and IU Clinical Research Center, he completed his Bachelors degree in Biology at IUPUI and was accepted into dental school at Indiana University School of Dentistry. Upon graduation from the IU School of Dentistry in 2015, Dr. Kiesel accepted a position working with fellow Veterans providing dental care at the VA Medical Center in Indianapolis. His time at the VA provided great experience in restorative dentistry, treatment planning, prosthetics, implants and oral surgery, in a patient population with complex medical history. Additionally, Dr. Kiesel has extensive training in 3D imagining and CEREC same day restorations/crowns. Dr. Kiesel has been married to his wife Heather for thirteen years and they have three children together. In his free time he likes to play guitar and go for family bike rides on the Monon.
