Dr. Malis graduated from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry in 1978. He accepted a general dental residency commission in the United States Air Force as a dental officer in 1980 where he proudly served his country for five years, two years in Izmir Turkey and three years at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. Extending his dental continuing education further, in 1990, Dr. Malis received a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Malis has been in private practice for 38 years. He is currently practicing dentistry at the Dental Implant Institute where he is responsible for all phases of general and implant prosthetic dentistry including full mouth reconstruction, occlusion and temporomandibular related therapies. His treatment expertise includes facilitating treatment for general dentist and their patients on a referral basis as well. Dr. Malis and his wife Carol reside in Rochester Michigan. They have two daughters. Elizabeth, an attorney who is married to Allen, and Julie, a OBGYN. They are proud grandparents of Adele and spoil her like grandparents should.
