About
Hi, thanks for visiting my page. My name is Anthony Zamarra, and my patients like to call me "Dr. Z". I grew up in Springfield, New Jersey, trained at UMDNJ and The Dawson Academy, and my practice, Beacon Hill Dental, has been open since 2003. While I'm a general dentist, I have extensive experience with cosmetic and surgical dentistry. My expertise lies in veneers, placing implants, All-On-Fours, extractions, and crowns. I have also been trained in treating TMJ, and I am certified with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics to inject Botox in order to treat pain and migraines associated with TMJ. I consider myself to be an honest and ethical doctor, and I will never tell my patients what I think they want to hear, but instead what they need to hear, in order to make sure they are making the best decisions for their overall health. I started my business, Beacon Hill Dental, in Summit, New Jersey, until I moved to the beautiful countryside of Watchung, New Jersey. My peaceful practice represents how I want all of my patients to feel when they come to my practice. I want them to feel relaxed and that they are in good hands. The most important thing for me is that my patients trust me and my staff, and know that I will always do the right thing by them. My practice, Beacon Hill Dental, is unique in that it is inspired by nature, residing on serene and peaceful grounds with beautiful landscaping, including 2 Koi ponds and a running waterfall that I built himself on the external premises. Operatories are adorned with large windows, where patients can look out at the bird feeders as birds, squirrels, and chipmunks scurry by, which we find allows patients to feel more relaxed and at ease. Every dental cleaning is finished with a warm lavender towelette. What some of my patients don't know about me is that I studied Zoology in my undergraduate studies, and I have a great interest in reptiles, especially turtles and snakes and have had some as pets in the past. Another thing that many of my patients do know about me is that I love everything involving motorcycles, and you will find me at the race track almost every weekend in the summer, racing my motorcycles. I enjoy riding dirt, street, and ice riding. Ask me about motorcycles and it will be hard to get me to stop talking! At my practice, you will receive the highest quality dental care. We use the latest state-of-the-art equipment and cutting edge technology and we uphold the strictest sterilization techniques. We know that many people may feel anxious about coming to the dentist, so it is our goal to make your visit with us as pain and anxiety free as possible. We view it as our mission to educate our patients about all of their oral health care options and to help guide them to choose a treatment plan that is most suitable and appropriate for their needs. I'm a great believer in using technology to it's best advantage. I have all the latest 3D equipment including a 3D CT Scanner, 3D Surgically Guided Stents, 3D Printer, and Digital X-rays. My office is completely paperless, in order to make our patient experience more efficient, and to also help the environment by cutting down on paper. Thank you for visiting my page!
