About
Dr. Anya de Frias was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Miami, Florida. She worked full-time at a dental office while she attended Florida International University where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition. Following her undergraduate education, she went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at LECOM School of Dental Medicine. Dr. de Frias is detail-oriented, empathetic, and always strives to achieve the best outcomes for her patients. She knows seeing the dentist can induce anxiety and therefore provides individualized treatments in a calm environment with a focus on prevention and educating her patients on oral hygiene. Dr. de Frias is a lifelong learner, spending many hours each year learning about the latest dental and esthetic innovations. She believes in the synergy between dentistry and facial esthetics, and has expanded the scope of her practice to include laser, Botox, and filler treatments. When she's out of the office, Dr. de Frias is kayaking in Tampa Bay, with her boyfriend and their two dogs, or golfing.
