About
Dr. Dinh is not only a dental practice owner and proud mother of two lovely children, but also served as an Air Force Reserve Dentist for Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. She was previously enlisted in the Army Reserves as a Vietnamese Linguist, participated in ROTC at the University of Texas, and eventually commissioned as a Military Intelligence Officer. Throughout dental school, Dr. Dinh was activated for six months to fulfill her obligations as an Intel Officer at Ft. Hauchuca in Arizona. She also worked with the FBI and DEA as a Vietnamese Linguist. Upon graduating from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, she accepted a commission in the Air Force Reserve and became a Dental Corps Officer at Andrews Air Force Base. Dr. Dinh retired as a Major in the Air Force Reserve after proudly serving in the Armed Forces for over 24 years. With a strong commitment to the field of dentistry, Dr. Dinh continues to immerse herself in various continuing education courses, ranging from endodontics, periodontics, pedodontics, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, dental sleep medicine to various dental implant restorations and placements. As an Air Force Reserve Dentist, Dr. Dinh participated in humanitarian missions to Sri Lanka to provide emergency dental care to displaced tsunami residents throughout four remote villages. She was helicoptered into each village to extract hopeless teeth under austere conditions. Dr. Dinh also provides community services to Give Kids a Smile and has volunteered her time to the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic. Dr. Dinh and her husband enjoy traveling, back-country camping, skiing, biking, hiking, volleyball, and live theatre. With their two beautiful children, they are now focused on local family adventures. She is a native Texan and brings her southern hospitality to Virginia.
