Dr. Behnaz Yavari was born in Tehran, Iran, and migrated to the United States to further her education. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Georgia State University, where she met her husband, Amir Kasravi. Dr. Bennie then pursued her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Louisville, graduating with Honors in Clinical Dentistry. Following this, she completed her orthodontics residency at the Georgia School of Orthodontics in Atlanta, GA.With over 12 years of clinical experience in both private and corporate orthodontic settings, Dr. Bennie is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Her background also includes seven years as an orthodontist lead assistant, where she developed extensive skills in managing six to eight patient chairs, training teams, and overseeing practice operations to enhance productivity and growth.Dr. Bennies professional expertise encompasses various clinical techniques, including the use of an Iodide laser machine, TAD placement, 3D CBCT reviews, Traditional & Lingual braces, and Invisalign aligner therapy certification. Additionally, she is proficient in multiple practice management software systems, such as Grey Finch, Cloud9, Ortho Trac, and Dolphin, ensuring efficient operations within a dynamic clinical environment.Outside of her professional career, Dr. Bennie deeply values family. She is married to her best friend, Amir Kasravi, and together they have a daughter named Artemis, whose name inspires Dr. Bennies practice. Their family is also completed by their cherished Aussie Doodle puppy. The Yavari family resides in Buckhead, GA, where Artemis and their puppy, Tito, are growing up. Dr. Bennie is excited to practice orthodontics in Sandy Springs, GA, and is committed to continuing her professional development.
