I wouldn't recommend going to this dentist. On his website there are many treatments advertised such as neuromuscular dentistry and technologies like the K7 jaw tracking device. Dr. Bernard Lynch doesn't use this device because he says it's overkill. So if you're hoping for more insight on TMD and your jaw position, you won't get it here.It's advertised on his website that a one-on-one comprehensive evaluation will be done that can last up to 2 hours. This is not true. He will spend around 15 minutes doing basic checks. This will cost you $200.Also he was a bit disrespectful when I asked questions about my symptoms. When Dr. Lynch heard that I read about TMD, he was very dismissive and said I shouldn't waste my time with that. He treated me like I was wrong for trying to learn about dentistry. That's not the right behavior for a doctor.I gave 2 stars because at least he was honest when he said he didn't know what to do.
In November ‘24 I tried Dr B. Lynch – Burke Dental Office. Mistake. Excellent reception, admin processing, and 5-star dental cleaning. When it was finally my turn, he crashed in still wearing his Dune eyepiece. He never consulted me. He said X-Rays showed a need for 4 crowns and likely two root canals - and he'd do all four crowns in one day. Follow that up with two root canals via a separate Dr. and return for the fitting of permanent crowns. Imagine tap-tap tooth-too-high adjustment with four at one time. No hot cold sensitivity testing – just the “here, look at this on a mirror” testing. I waited three months and got a 2d opinion and X-rays. I actually needed two crowns. He was abrupt, rushed, abrasive, and pushy. Maybe I got him on a bad day.
My wife and I travel over two hours from Union Bridge, Maryland to Alexandria, Va. to have our dental needs met by Dr. Bernard Lynch and staff. That alone is a good indicator of our faith in them. Dr. Lynch, Clarissa, Michael, Josh, and Tiffany, always provide a sense of confidence and work extra hard to ease any anxiety you might experience. He and his assistant (Michael) are top-notch in their fields of general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. He also has the most modern equipment available, is friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and exudes a feeling of confidence that will prompt you to become a permanent patient. If you are seeking the best, look no further than the professional dental offices of Dr. Bernard Lynch. You will thank me for it time and time again.
The office uses the most modern equipment and techniques to make even difficult procedures a lot easier, more thorough and as permanent and teeth can be. The staff (hygienists and dentists) is equally superb.
Dr. Lynch took great care of my teen twin daughters. His entire staff is very professional and courteous. Karen, my daughters' hygenist, is among the best we have ever had.
Dr Lynch and his staff have provided the full range of dental care to me and my wife for over 10 years .
