Care Philosophy

Dr. Bernie (as he is known to all his patients) received his Doctorate from the University of Illinois in 1981. Prior to that, he received a B.S. from Illinois Benedictine College. After graduation, Dr. Bernie was associated with several offices commuting to Chicago, Westmont, and Lisle, before opening his office in Woodridge in 1986. The office was relocated to its current location in April 1995. Dr. Bernie is a member of several professional organizations including the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, as well as several Civic and Local organizations. Dr. Bernie is very active in community and church activities. He is also an avid sports enthusiast. For recreation, he officiates basketball on the High school and Collegiate level. Dr. Bernie resides in Downers Grove with his wife Arlene and their 5 children.
