About
Dr. Frey is a Michigan native and he received his bachelors degree in economics from the University of Michigan in 1987. Subsequently, he attended the dental school at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and graduated in 1992. After obtaining his DDS degree, Dr. Frey completed the residency-training program in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. in 1996.Dr. Frey pursued additional training in the form of a fellowship year at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, Mississippi. This elective year provided valuable experience in facial cosmetic surgery techniques, and it also provided further experience in Dr. Freys main area of interest, which is bone grafting and dental implant surgery. Personally, Dr. Frey has placed thousands of dental implants, and he has been board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery since 1999.Dr. Frey has been part of Maryland Oral Surgery Associates since 1998, and he currently resides in Washington, D.C. He has published articles in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and he has spoken at national meetings on topics relating to surgical technique. Dentistry runs in the family as Dr. Freys brother is an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon practicing in Michigan, and his sister is a dental hygienist practicing in Indiana. When he is not working hard at the office, he enjoys tennis, swimming and supporting athletics from his alma mater, the University of Michigan.
