Dr. Brenda Paulen, D.M.D., is a native Atlantan and, as a second-generation dentist, she comes from a family dedicated to dentistry. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Emory University and her Doctorate of Dentistry from the University of Pennsylvania in 1984. After serving metro-Atlanta for nearly twenty years, Dr. Paulen opened Proud Smiles Dental in Sandy Springs, in August 2002, with the specific vision of providing a more personal health-centered approach to dental care.

Sandy Springs dentist Dr. Brenda Paulen has developed long-term relationships with hundreds of patients because of our focus on providing comprehensive, comfortable, and affordable dental care. Dr. Paulen takes a holistic approach to her dentistry and emphasizes the important connection between oral health and overall health and well being. We consider ourselves a partner in your health care and strive to provide the dentistry you need to achieve a healthy, beautiful smile. WHAT TO EXPECT A beautiful smile begins with a healthy smile. That's why we take a proactive approach to preventative dental care. Your first visit will begin with a new patient exam and consultation with Dr. Paulen. You'll have a chance to talk to the dentist about your dental and medical history as well as your dental concerns and goals. If you need cosmetic or restorative dental treatment, we'll design a treatment plan that fits your needs and budget.

I've had all of my wisdom teeth pulled with Dr. Paulin and she is great. She does Everything she can to make it as quick and painless as possible while also making you feel well cared for and valued. As well, she's had the same fantastic staff forever. I imagine that's because they're all treated with the same care and professionalism as her patients.

Dr paulen did a very extensive exam I have severe tmj. She explained in detail. About recovery. Everyone was friendly. And helpful. I do recommend proud smiles
