About
Dr. Noorda has built his practice with Excellence as his mission. Not only does he have extensive education (well beyond most of Nevada's dentists) in implants, sedation, endodontics, and so forth, but he also has the experience to back it up. He has a Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantology, a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry, and a Mastership from the College of Sedation Dentistry. The office is state-of-the-art with the best in technology like 3D CT cone beam scanning (for precision in diagnoses and for doing implants), CEREC cad-cam scanning and milling unit (for same day crowns), digital x-rays, digital registration forms for new patients, e-reminders, and so on. Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry--which he accomplished in 2006. The FAGD requires extensive knowledge, understanding, and skill in the field of dentistry. It involves documentation of courses, recommendations from peers, and passing a written exam with the AGD. In 2012, Dr. Noorda was awarded a Masters in the College of Sedation Dentistry. The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology presents this prestigious award to very few dentists. Earning this award shows Dr. Noorda's dedication to providing quality sedation care to patients. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the International College of Implantologists, The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry. These memberships are not only focused on improving dentists and their ability to provide the best available care for patients, but they are powerful voices nationally on the need for excellent health care practice. Dr. Noorda graduated from dental school with honors from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1996. Just four years prior to that, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree (also with honors) from Brigham Young University. Currently Dr. Noorda is working toward earning his Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is constantly training and perfecting his skills as a general family dentist. As a result, he has excellent experience in a broad range of dental treatments. He does implants, root canals, crowns, orthodontics, fillings, veneers, whitening, dentures, and more. His goal has always been excellence--providing for a patient's wellness in treatment, no matter what treatment they might need.
