Dr. Parker himself is a knowledgeable and respectable professional. However, the way this office runs is just way more chaotic than you can't imagine. They would cancel your appointment at the last minute with excuses like 'Doctor is having a trip' or 'hygienist quit' and put you on an appointment six months later without any effort trying to make things right. The worst part is when questioning why a hygienist leaving their job would end up canceling an appointment that's scheduled the very next day, instead of at least the general 2-week notice time, their front desk's refuse to admit they dropped the ball by not calling earlier, and respond, 'It happens to everyone on the list, and it's not just you,' such an irresponsible and petty way of handling patient relations is the worst nightmare even the most reputable dentist would not cost. Our family and friends used here for some time and decided to switch to other responsible places.

Very unsatisfied with the receptionist today. My appt. was at 1pm. Like always, I was early. 12:45 to be exact. She asks me my name. Oddly she says “somebody already checked you in, were you already here. I tell her “no” and she says “I’ll let them know you’re here”. I sit there for 10 min. another patient come in, checks in, and in less than 5 minutes she’s being taken back to be serviced. I sit there and I’m about 10-15 min. another person comes in, checks in and I hear that she is Dr. Parker’s patient. She is then taken back to be serviced. I get up ask the receptionist “am I not going to be seen today?” She says what’s your name. Now lady you seen me sitting here the entire 30 mins. that I’ve been sitting her. I tell her my name again. She says, “oh, I forgot to check you in”. I didn’t say anything, I just left the office!!! She went from saying somebody already checked me in before I got there (which was her) to 30 min. of sitting there, she stated she never checked me in.

The front office of this dental firm is completely unprofessional. I've had my new patient evaluation rescheduled 5 different times since January. One time I went to the office only to be turned away as the Dentist was not there. The last straw was having my appointment cancelled a week before the appointment. There are too many dentists in the East End. Do not waste your time here.

Dr Parker put a crown on my tooth and did a terrible job. He was rushed and when I complained about the pain, he simply said “ it would go away.” I would never use him again.

He rushes from room to room from patient to patient. He messed up my tooth twice. He does not take time with his patients. He’s rude to his staff and patients. DO NOT HAVE HIM WORK ON YOU. HE’S TERRIBLE.

Awful experience. Very misleading on Google review

I took my 3 yr old son to Dr. Bruce today hoping for a better experience than his first (which was a very filthy environment with filthy utensils) We have insurance through the state so I went knowing that I was going to pay out of pocket, but most importantly hoping to have my son’s dental issue taken care of. My son has a visible chipped looking space on the surface of his tooth that I didn’t think was a cavity. The dental hygienist told the doctor which tooth we were having problems with, he literally looked into my son’s mouth, told me it was the beginning of a cavity and to do nothing for about 6 to 7 months and then bring him back in to look at it. That took a matter of three minutes. I am a RN student & i really don’t know much about dentistry but I do know that wasn’t accurate. Upon check out I was charged $85 for a “comprehensive exam”. We never received an exam. No bedside manners. Very rough with my son.

Terrible. He is no longer a Dentist; he is an IT technician, with the highest # of dental assistants per dentist that I've ever heard of. He sprints from room to room and as a patient (I'm not software) I feel doubtful of his quality. I echo the story from others concerning terrible wisdom teeth removal. The last time he left part of a root in the cancel, leading to a serious infection. The Dr. Parker of old, during his first several years of practice would be thoughtful and talkative, spending an appropriate amount of time with my exam, reviewing x-rays and explaining his treatment plan. But as he became more high-tech he also became high profit-oriented. He should have a partner so the medical care could have stayed high quality and peer reviewed. My boys, one of them an MD, literally shudder when I suggest that they see Dr. Parker.... You should to.

Was told my 4 year old need to have a tooth either pulled or a root canal but that my insurance wouldnt pay for it. After being pressured to make the choice right away, they pulled his tooth. I called my insurance and was told saving the tooth was completely covered. When I called the office to complain they told me it was MY fault for not double checking their assumptions about my insurance. Expecting ME to double check their every action (costs, diagnosis, etc) is NOT how medical care is supposed to work. Dont trust them at all.

I had a wisdom tooth extraction done with Dr Parker. I have had two previous wisdom teeth extractions. This by far was the most painful and longest. Not only was it painful during the procedure but infinitely worse afterwards. I also had a cut that was stitched in an area of my mouth where I had no dental work done. Not sure as to why, but it was most definitely the worst dental work I've ever received.

Dr. Parker has consistently taken the time to address my concerns suggesting treatment or (when appropriate) watchful waiting for a variety of concerns. The office is high tech, appointments start on-time and the care is great. Yes, he does sell whitening but just politely decline and that's the end of it.
