About
I'm excited about the opportunity to be your dentist. Here's a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in Lexington, NC where my parents still live today. Being the youngest of three siblings with two older brothers gave me a toughness I still take pride in! I loved playing sports growing up; volleyball was my favorite. Family skiing and beach trips are fond memories from childhood. I grew up going to sailing camp and horseback riding to keep me occupied in the summers. I am a Tar Heel! I attended UNC for undergraduate degrees in Environmental Sciences and Chemistry, conducted HIV research for UNC School of Medicine, and then discovered my passion for dentistry. I graduated from UNC School of Dentistry in 2013 with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. I truly enjoy my work. I love meeting new people, hearing their story, diagnosing a problem, and coming up with solutions to help my patients. I am a high-energy person and I work hard to make my office a fun and safe place for my patients, my team and me. Currently I am Chair for the Council on Membership for the NC Dental Society, Board Member of Wake Smiles, Member of Raleigh, Wake County Dental Society and Member of Durham, Orange County Dental Society.
