He graduated from the University of Memphis with a bachelor s degree and proceeded to go to dental school at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences. He received his D.D.S. degree in 1977. Dr. Carney had a private practice in Memphis before he relocated to East, Tennessee. Dr. Carney is married with five children. His hobbies include biking, hiking and boating on the lakes of beautiful East, Tennessee.
