Cristina at the front desk must have been having a rough day — I asked a simple question about how they were paid last year, since my insurance hasn’t changed, and was met with attitude. I was told they now require payment up front, which was never the case before. While I tried to get some clarity, Dr. Cocozzo never came out to address any concerns or follow up afterward. Zero customer service. Very disappointing experience from a place I used to trust. To top things off I received a letter stating they will no longer accept my family as a patient due to a disruption at the doctor office. Again, without any phone calls from Dr Cocozzo to at the very least hear my concerns.
Moved near her office in 2019 and were told they accept our dental insurance. After a few visits, with no cavities or any other problems, and on different days, Dr. Cocozzo suggested teeth whitening to both my husband and myself. We are both in our 50’s and married, so come on, the answer was no…Suddenly, my husband gets a bill for his last cleaning. Actually, it wasn’t a bill, but a collection email. When I called to question it…the staff was rude…absolutely rude. Then I get the “disruption of the doctor/patient relationship” letter. What is the disruption, exactly? Do we take too good care of our teeth?
Dr. Cocozzo and team are always warm and welcoming. They work to accommodate crazy work schedules, are always friendly - and you can tell they have a great culture and work environment in the office, as it is evident in every interaction with the team. Always on time, and always a great experience. Very happy with Dr. Cocozzo and team.
Dr. Cocozzo dropped me as a patient with absolutely zero provocation or explaination. I've never missed an appointment, paid all bills and never had negative interactions. The letter I received said "I find it necessary to inform you that as of today, 4/12/2022, I will no longer be able to provide you with dental care because of a disruption of the doctor/patient relationship." What the heck? I called at least twice requesting addition info and also left my email address. I received nothing. I was driving by so I went into the office to confirm my next appointment. It had been cancelled. So, I said I would wait to talk to the doctor. I sat down in the waiting room and waited quietly. 20 minutes later the sheriff showed up to walk me out, which I did of course ?????. I was asked to never return.
Side note. Better say yes to any suggested procedures or items ($500 night guard). Or you will be dropped for not spending enough.
Stay away from this place. I have never written a bad review in my life, but good God am I writing one today. In 2020 I noticed the filling they had done a few months prior was completely discolored (brown), when I called and emailed pictures that were taken from a different office they told me the discoloration was from drinking coffee and smoking, both are things I do not do! When I asked for them to fix it they said no, when I asked to speak to Dr. Cocozzo they said she was unavailable but I could leave a number, which she never called. It is now a year and a half later and the filling is chipping causing sensitivity. Also was told my insurance would cover it only to find out my insurance covered 80%. Save yourself the money and the headache and go somewhere else.
I highly recommend Dr Cocozzo and her Staff! I've gone in for 2 cleanings since the start of the pandemic and I've even taken in my kids twice and I've felt very comfortable with their cleaning measures & precautions!
We've been using this office for ~4 or 5 years, I've never had a bad experience. The hygienists are friendly, gentle and extremely thorough. They take their time and explain what they're doing so you know the whole time.
Dr. Cocozzo is very friendly and knowledgeable. She addresses all dental concerns with compassion and understanding. She's provided excellent referrals for any thing she isnt able to do within her office (We've only had to go elsewhere for a wisdom tooth extraction.)
My kids are fairly comfortable with going to the dentist now after a couple visits. The staff is GREAT with kids, they work through their anxieties by teaching them and explaining what they are doing and never push them too far. They want it to be a positive experience for them! Also the

Not trustworthy. I was systematically being ripped off. Dont trust the smiling face. She is only cares about $$$.
