About
Dr. McKellar was born in Daytona Beach, Florida. She attended the University of Florida and received her Bachelor's degree in Nutrition. She went on to receive her dental degree from Nova Southeastern University. As she has always had a strong desire to work with and help children, she specialized in pediatric dentistry at a two year residency program in Tucson, AZ. She has been practicing in the Atlanta area for the past several years. Dr. McKellar believes in the importance of continuing education and advancements in the dental field and has served on several national dental committees and attended many advanced education seminars. She is currently an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Georgia Dental Association. She also has had the privilege of giving dental service through a series of mission trips to El Rosario, Mexico. Her passion continues to be with treating the dental needs of children in a way which is comfortable for both the parent and the patient. Her sedation license allows her provide various treatment options. In her spare time Dr. McKellar enjoys spending time with her family and participating in activities at her church. She also enjoys hiking, fishing, and traveling.
