About
Dr. Christopher "Chris" M. Anderson is originally from Ohio, but has lived in Marietta since 1984. He attended Sprayberry High School and received his Bachelor of Science at Kennesaw State University. In May of 1999, Dr. Chris graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. He received awards of excellence in Prosthodontics (dentures, partials, and bridgework) and also in Pediatric dentistry. In early 2003, Dr. Chris became sole owner of this practice. Doctor Chris has continued his education, including receiving a surgical certification for the placement of dental implants. He is a member of the Northwestern Dental Society, the Georgia Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and a past member of Cherokee Dental Study Club (part of the Seattle Study Club). In recent years Dr. Chris has been attending the prestigious Pankey Institute for advanced dental education. Doctor Chris has a special interest in using the latest dental technology when it's use will improve patient outcomes. He also has mentored five of his recent dental assistants, Kennesaw University graduates, who are now studying at the Georgia Regents University (Medical College of Georgia) to become Dentists, or have already graduated. One of our current assistants, Nick, has those same aspirations. Dr. Chris enjoys patients of all ages, from 3 to 93 and has a a special sensitivity toward senior patients, and veterans. Outside the office, Dr. Chris enjoys spending time with his wife Leigh Ann, and just being "Dad" to his two children. Dr. Chris enjoys being a handyman around his home, target shooting, and playing "farmer" on occasion. Many of the office remodeling projects were accomplished by Dr. Chris and his Dad.
