Dr. Kumfer graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington in 2007 and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2012. Dr. Kumfer is a current member of the Indianapolis District Dental Society; Indiana Dental Association; American Dental Association; Chicago District Dental Society Associate Member; and the IDA/IUSD Academy of Continuing Education. Dr. Kumfer has a strong belief in keeping current on new techniques and procedures with continuing education courses focused on cavity prevention, nutrition, smile esthetics, oral sedation and endodontics. While not at Kumfer Family Dental, Dr. Kumfer works 3 days a week at a family dental practice in Avon, Indiana. Outside of the office, Dr. Kumfer enjoys spending time with his wife, Brandy and their son, Oliver. Dr. Kumfer likes to stay active with CrossFit, basketball, running and volleyball.
