A graduate of UMKC Dental School in 2003, Dr. Chris is a third-generation Wolken family dentist providing high-quality, comprehensive dental care. Never satisfied with being average, Dr. Chris went beyond his primary dental training and completed a dental implant residency for placement and restoration of dental implants. Dr. Chris believes that the mouth is the gateway to the entire body and optimal oral health should be a priority. The diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea and obtaining certification to perform orthodontics as an Invisalign Preferred Provider are just a few of the extra steps he has taken to provide a well-rounded approach to providing high-quality, comprehensive oral health care.Beyond his professional excellence, he's committed to giving back to the community by providing free dental care to underserved children and promoting dental health in schools. Dr. Chris enjoys volunteering at schools to promote dental health in children and supporting organizations that support the health and well-being of the community. He and his wife live in Olivette with their three children.

Yesterday I had the titanium screw inserted for an implant. It went absolutely pain-free and smoothly, although it is a procedure that requires several very exact steps, with drilling to within a few millimeters of the nerve below the bone. Every step was explained as Dr. Wolken proceeded. The area of the operation remains comfortable today without any medication.I couldn't be more satisfied.
