About
Dr. Young grew up in the small town of Farmington, NM. After High School, he served a two year Mission for his church in Los Angeles, California. In the mission he was fortunate to learn and become fluent speaking the Spanish language. Following his mission he went to undergraduate studies at Arizona State University. Thereafter, heobtained his dental doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Continuing his post-doctorate education, he specialized in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at University of Colorado Health Science Center. He completed his residency at Colorado University in Denver in August 2007. After completing his orthodontic education, he set up two orthodontic practices. One in the town of Prescott and the other in the town of Prescott Valley, Arizona. He has thoroughly loved his patients and staff and being a part of these small towns in Arizona for the past 7 years. He has had the joy of making some everlasting relationships with so many wonderful families. He was also fortunate enough in the past seven years to be able to see the demands, frustrations, joys, and difficulties with running a private practice. Dr. Young and his wife have been married for 7 years now and have three little children. As a family they love to be outside— swimming, golfing, spending time with the family, and the occasional movie.
