I had a rather surreal interaction with this dentist on my first appointment. Her staff is nice and seem competent. The hygenist commented on how my gums didn't bleed, as most people's did. No problems or negative comments during cleaning. She did some measurements, (which turned out to be inaccurate.) The dentist came in, took a fast look in my mouth, asked a few questions, then pronounced that I had periodontal DISEASE. I was astounded. I have had regular dental care for my entire life and NEVER showed any signs of that. I told her I had NO symptom of even gingivitis, let alone periodontal disease.She said that's possible and that I should make an appointment for a "deep cleaning." It all sounded wacky to me, so I made an appointment with a periodontist. I do NOT have periodontal disease but some gum damage from aggressive tooth brushing. HIS measurements were different from the ones I received from her office. My advice is to get an informed 2nd opinion if you get advice from her.

From my very first visit at the office, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable by both the friendly staff and the pleasant environment of the office. Dr. McNeil inspires the utmost confidence by her smile and by her weatlth of knowledge, skill, and professionalism. Great job! I highly recommend Dr. McNeil and everyone at McNeil Dental !!!!!!!
